On Discernment and Company
विषादप्यमृतं ग्राह्यममेध्यादपि काञ्चनम् । अमित्रादपि सद्वृत्तं बालादपि सुभाषितम् ॥
viṣādapyamṛtaṃ grāhyamamedhyādapi kāñcanam | amitrādapi sadvṛttaṃ bālādapi subhāṣitam ||

“Take nectar even from poison; gold from filth; good conduct from an enemy; wise speech even from a child.”
In Modern Life
Refuse to dismiss insight because of its source. Your worst competitor probably has one thing they do better. Learn it. The annoying junior in the meeting might be right. The textbook you disagree with politically might have a useful frame. Truth is upstream of the messenger.
